First Honey Co-operative started in 1994 with a few beekeepers whose shared dream was to start a honey marketing co-operative. The dream slowly became a reality, first with the help of Coventry Co-operative Development Agency who established the Co-operative as a limited company.

The First Honey Co-operative  markets blended and mono- floral honeys to non-supermarket outlets under the FHC logo.  Our honey can be found in some National Trust and English Heritage shops.

Members of the Co-operative are independent beekeepers who supply some of their honey to the Co-operative.

The Co-operative aims are:

To provide a service to the public by:

   1. Supplying Pure Honey produced exclusively by British Bees.

  2. Maintaining honey bee colonies.

   3. Supporting Farming & Wild flowers by maintaining pollinating

     bees.

  4. Promoting Plant and Animal diversity.

And

Providing a market opportunity for every beekeeper.
